The Labrador Retriever
Club of Wales held their Novice Trial for A/V Retrievers at Stoke Edith,
Herefordshire by kind permission of Mr Neil Clark. Thankfully the weather stayed
largely dry, and fairly mild considering we’re now in December!
I would like to thank
keeper Mr Josh Gee for all of his hard work in accommodating our sport across
both of our Trial days. His team of beaters and pickers-up were very
complimentary of the dog work and Mr Clark’s team of Guns shot brilliantly,
providing us with a plentiful supply of birds with which to finish the Trial.
My thanks also to The
Committee of The Lady Emily Hall in Tarrington for allowing us to use their
facilities. And to our Club’s Committee for their help behind the scenes and on
the day. I was very inspired to see youngsters offering their help at our
Trials, and thrilled to see them enjoy it so much. Our gratitude is also given
to our generous sponsor Skinner’s, supplying us with award certificates and
vouchers.
Finally, we can’t forget
our Judges, as I suppose they have a somewhat important role to play in the
Trial. It was a genuine pleasure to watch you all, and I very much hope you
enjoyed your day.
Mr R Tozer, Mr M Gould, Mr
N Probert & Miss E Davis awarded the following placings:
